To connect with Pacific Northwest scenery, all you need to do is look out any of House Brier's windows. Two large windows facing east provide views of trees near and far, and even the Cascade Mountains on clear days. A large window facing west provides a panoramic view of your own lush, private yard. And because all views are private, you don't need to worry about staring into anyone else's windows (or vice versa).
Take a seat and enjoy your own lush yard from the comfort of your own private sitting area. Facing south, House Brier's private yard has the perfect mix of sun and shade. Perennial plants include rhododendron, hydrangeas, ferns, and more. Hang a hummingbird feeder if you want an up close aerial show.
House Brier is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the 2nd Safest City in Washington State. All neighbors are friendly long-time residents of single-family homes who value the quiet, sleepy nature of this centrally located bedroom community.
House Brier was originally built in the 1950’s (or earlier) by the Merriman Family as a machine shed on their 5-acre property.
When their grandfather passed away in the early 1960's, the machine shed was remodeled into a home for their Grandma Bea, where she resided for over 20 years.
In the 1980’s the Merriman’s property was developed into the subdivision that exists today. While the neighborhood has changed significantly over the last 60 years, House Brier remained virtually untouched until it was renovated in 2024.
The City of Brier is a hidden gem in the Seattle area. It has a population of approximately 6,500 people and its historic goal has been to provide single-family housing on relatively large lots.
Brier provides residents a rare luxury to live in a relatively quiet retreat compared to the higher density developments that surround it. Add in the gorgeous views of the Cascade Mountains and you can understand why Brier is a wonderful place to call home.
We take pride in the delivering an exceptionally clean and well maintained property. As shown in the pictures, House Brier is a fully furnished, 3/4 bath, move-in ready studio house. All premium furniture, appliances, kitchen amenities, linens, and cleaning supplies are included.
The maximum occupancy of House Brier is 2 people per local codes. Reasonable exceptions can be made for young children.
We offer leases with a duration of 1 to 12 months.
Our property is typically 40-60% cheaper than staying at comparable extended stay hotels and we have better amenities!

House Brier provides allergy-friendly housing. Since completely renovating the dwelling, including extensive allergy-friendly investments, no domestic animals have ever entered the premises. This provides our Residents peace of mind that our housing is a sanctuary from animal allergens.
Smoking, vaping, candles, and incense are not allowed anywhere on the property. Scentless vaping is allowed outside only.
Residents are limited to 2 vehicles. There is room for 2 off-street vehicles and plenty of on-street parking. At this time, we do not offer EV charging.
Water, sewer, electricity, and internet are all included. Additional charges may apply for excessive usage.
Brand new, easy to use LG full-sized washer and dryer.
Zelle, ACH Bank Transfers, and Credit Cards (payment processing fees may apply).
Our goal is to make renting House Brier as painless as possible. And above all else, we will treat you with the respect you deserve, regardless of the outcome of our application and screening process.
The process starts with a short Zoom or in-person conversation to better understand your housing needs and answer any questions you have about our Application and Screening Tenant Criteria. This important step ensures you are completely comfortable before moving forward.
At the conclusion of our conversation, you will be invited to start the application process by providing your email address and positive proof of identification. You'll then be emailed the online Application for Tenancy, which includes a credit and background check.
